Author: Sad to See Eastern Europe Cast Into ‘Repetitive Pattern’ of War

Author Jessie Kanzer worked as a waitress and actress in New York in her 20s. At the time, she worked on a movie with then-comedian, now Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Kanzer has relatives in Ukraine. She says that some of her extended family have fled the country while others have stayed. She says they are going to defend their freedom and their way of life. Kanzer gave NTD some background on what her family has endured over the generations.
