In this program we DISPROVE the dangerous and blinding belief system known as Preterism, espoused by many popular Christian leaders today including R.C. Sproul, Hank Hanegraaff, and many others, who take an allegoric approach to the scriptures rather than literal to teach that the entire book of Revelation and Christ’s prophecies of His return in Matthew 24 have already been fulfilled, and in fact were fulfilled in the 1st century AD with the destruction of Jerusalem and replacement of national Israel with the Church as the Bride of Christ; and who therefore teach that Bible prophecy is irrelevant to our time and can be ignored.

This message shows why it is IMPOSSIBLE that Christ’s prophecies of the great tribulation and “abomination of desolation” in Matthew 24 could have been fulfilled in 70 AD. The product of sloppy exegesis that mangles the scriptures to fit them into a preconceived agenda, Preterism makes a mockery of scripture and minimizes its authority, strips Bible prophecy of its relevance and importance, and causes its adherents to blindly ignore the way current events are unfolding in fulfillment of Bible prophecy and how the global economy and governments are being melded into the satanic global government of Revelation 13, thus promoting participation in the antichrist’s economic/political system.
