Then stay on his side. Easier to dodge and get away from his acid/fire attack which is the real damage dealer. Entering 2nd phase (halfway through hp) need to jet out of there.
Watch your spacing. Dont want to get caught along the tree or wall and have no where to move when he starts his breath attack.
