I Climbed Kilimanjaro

A wonderful 6 day trek via the Machame Route. We embarked with Anirudh Singh, who is now a dear friend and phenomenal young man.

Our guide, Thomas, was exceptional. So was our other guide, Ponsiong.

We owe everything to our 8 porters, cook, and water/waiter companions.

We will never forget this trip.

Huge respect for Jaclyn getting to Stella Point after not eating for two from what was either food poisoning or a parasite. After visiting the hospital in Nairobi and obtaining three different medicines, the best they could note was that she had a UTI and the obvious--depleted electrolytes, dehydration, etc. Somehow she willed herself to the top!
