Is Beverly Hills as great as it use to be? Some would argue no, some would argue that now living or residing in Beverly Hills makes you a target for theft, crime and worse. We are seeing robberies of luxury watches, cars and even follow home attacks. We are seeing people who once thought they could buy freedom, fail miserably at attempting to do so through owning real estate in Beverly Hills. We are seeing Beverly Hills real estate turn into hell. Even investors buying in areas like the Pacific Palisades, Malibu, Brentwood, Bel Air and other exclusive neighborhoods are worried about crime and theft and worse. The big question is will this crime surge continue throughout Los Angeles and now at this point can it be stopped or will things get progressively worse?

I was a realtor in Beverly Hills on Canon Dr for ten years and as a realtor my memories here were built around safety, luxury and desire. I never once had a negative experience around crime or theft, everyone was very nice (for the most part). The mansions were beautiful and the luxury home tours that I received and the luxury mansions I sold in Beverly Hills and the surrounding communities were very aspirational.

However that was a different lifetime ago, now Beverly Hills has changed and for you to travel around Beverly Hills in a luxury car or a nice watch it would be wise to have a fleet of security and an armed guard because otherwise you could find yourself in a bad place.
