Who Left Who?

Remember boys and girls, you can copyright a song but you can't copyright the title. So today's Segue City Special features two songs with the same title and the same theme, only different and from two different artists and eras. So Head East, from the Seventies, has at it and then Kelly Clarkson comes at the same theme more currently. Personally, we're hunkered down in a fallout shelter while all the screaming is going on. But we come back to the premise that all of this will have a happy ending. It always does, especially when you let it happen and flow...

Segue City is a recurring short-form programming element. At some point it will be a part of "The Big Kahuna." That’s an Internet Radio format that’s a part of Global Entertainment Technology that was created by Dain L. Schult.

It revives the art of mixing two songs together in a seamless pattern where it is tough to tell where the first song ended and the second one began. Sometimes the segues may also revolve around thematic ideas like matching or similar song titles.

Other times there are hidden meanings and Easter Eggs in the mix as well. We'll try anything because no two Segue City Specials will ever be exactly the same...
