For the quickest way to set up the Canon EOS R without watching the video:

1.) Make sure you’re in video mode.
- Press the Mode Button on the Camera
- Press the Info Button on the Camera
- Navigate to the manual option
2.) In settings (Wrench Icon / Page 2)
- Turn off the auto power-off option.
3.) Next setup the HDMI Display (Camera Icon / Page 4
- HDMI Display
- Select Camera + Display
4.) Finally, navigate to the AF icon page 1
- Enable Movie Servo AF
