MRF-D HIMARS Conducts a HIRAIN - Exercise Loobye

August 13, 2021 - U.S. Marines with High Mobility Artillery Rocket System platoon, Marine Rotational Force - Darwin conduct a HIMARS rapid insert during Exercise Loobye at Bradshaw Field Training Area, NT, Australia. HIMARS role in the exercise was to conduct a HIMARS rapid infiltration utilizing a Royal Australian Air Force C-17. Exercise Loobye is a tangible demonstration that the U.S. Marines and the Australian Defence Force are postured to respond to a crisis or contingency in the Indo-Pacific region in order to maintain regional stability.
