What is Winter Field Day in Texas?

Winter Field Day is an annual amateur radio (Ham Radio) contest. Participants can take their radio station out into the field or they can participate at home. Here in Texas we setup 5 stations this year and had a blast working contacts all over the world. From Arkansas to Scotland winter field day is always a good time with friends.
