Obtaining An Authorization To Carry in Canada - The "Proof Of Proficiency" Test Demonstrated

Tests can be unnerving, but sometimes they have to be undertaken. And that's what you will have to do if you want an "Authorization To Carry" a handgun for wilderness protection in Canada.

To pass the test you have to demonstrate (to a certified examiner) you can draw your handgun from it's holster and fire six shots into targets at varying distances rapidly and accurately. Shooting is done from both standing and kneeling positions.

In this video I will be attempting to get certified for two guns; a Smith & Wesson Model 29-3 (.44 Magnum) with a 10-5/8" barrel and a Ruger Security Six (.357 Magnum) with a 2-3/4" barrel - right from one extreme to the other, both guns shooting home-cast bullets.
