From where do unbelievers derive their moral centers? How are right and wrong determined? When there is no foundational truth, then the walls and boundaries that can be trespassed for anything will not only bring anarchy, they will bring the end of the human race.
Jesus/Yeshua is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Without Him as our foundation and pursuit, and the captain of our ship, we will never be satisfied or have our lives fulfilled in the way God has for us.
