The Mayor informed us this morning that he's now ensconced out in the country and everybody there knows how to whistle the theme to the old Andy Griffith Show... 'cause this is all like Mayberry on acid or something like that... Regardless, ours is not to reason why, ours is do today's Segue City Special or die trying...

So, the Atlanta Rhythm Section and Wet Willie get the call to sing about how hot it's about to get around here and how to blow you horn "beep beep" in a small town. Personally, the horn should go "meep meep" and be a Plymouth Roadrunner... But we'll settle for a Challenger just the same...

Segue City is a recurring short-form programming element. At some point it will be a part of "The Big Kahuna." That’s an Internet Radio format that’s a part of Global Entertainment Technology that was created by Dain L. Schult.

It revives the art of mixing two songs together in a seamless pattern where it is tough to tell where the first song ended and the second one began. Sometimes the segues may also revolve around thematic ideas like matching or similar song titles.

Other times there are hidden meanings and Easter Eggs in the mix as well. We'll try anything because no two Segue City Specials will ever be exactly the same...
