Marines Provide Artillery Support for the Marine Corps Combat Readiness Evaluation

December 6, 2021 - U.S. Marines with 1st Battalion, 10th Marine Regiment, 2d Marine Division, execute an artillery live-fire range as part of a Marine Corps Combat Readiness Evaluation (MCCRE) on Camp Lejeune, N.C., Dec. 6-7, 2021. A MCCRE is an exercise designed to formally evaluate a unit’s combat readiness and if successful, the unit will achieve apex status and is deemed ready for global employment.
