Crown cake

To make a crown cake you will need the following: a yellow cake mix baked in 2 round pans, a 14oz container of white frosting, yellow food coloring, gold sugar( can be found at Walmart), sugar cones, Starburst candies, Skittles candy.

Directions:
Set 1 cake on a plate to use for decorating. Add frosting to a small bowl and add yellow food coloring to it to make a deep yellow color. Mix well. Frost the top of the bottom layer. Next add the other cake on top. Frost the top of that cake. Now frost all the sides of both cakes. Sprinkle the gold sugar on top. Next frost the sugar cones. It helps to slip the cone over 2 fingers while frosting to hold the cone in place. You will need 5-6 sugar cones in total. After frosting the cones, sprinkle them with the gold sugar. Arrange them on the cake to resemble a crown. Unwrap the Starburst and add them to the sides of the cake along with the Skittles to resemble gems. Now your crown cake is ready to serve! Enjoy!

Note: you can use yellow frosting if you can find it. Also you can use gumdrops instead of Skittles if you like
