Japanese Apache Helicopters Conduct Combined Arms Training - Exercise Rising Thunder 21

December 3, 2021 - Aviators assigned to 1st Battle Helicopter Unit, Japanese Ground Self Defense Force, fire their 30mm chain gun from an AH-64 Apache helicopter at Yakima Training Center, Wash. The unit is conducting a combined arms training exercise with units from the 7th Infantry Division as part of Exercise Rising Thunder 21.
