"War-Criminal" Label

My roommate and I aren't even sure why Putin is being labeled a war criminal. It may be true but it feels more like a angry reaction from Biden and some of the American people etc to me.
Labeling people not only does no good it could provoke Putin further.
Labeling people is also hateful discriminatory and judgmental.
Wake up people hate the problem not the person. If you want to hate war crime, * hate war crime*, not the person that you think is committing it.
And what about the transgressions that the American government has committed against other countries for centuries or decades?!
I feel almost like the American government is accusing without due process again in this case.
If Biden wants to keep things from escalating he needs to stop his bad attitude and cool it already.
He also has stated that he doesn't want to sit down with Putin because of his attitude toward Putin!
