Who you are is an affront to evil, if you don't give up, and truly stand for your principles/virtues. If you were to go to a portion of the universe/existence to which you would have never travelled otherwise, you have collapsed the wave function for your perception, and can actually be a member of the history of that portion of the universe, rather than simply an observer.
