Try to find an 8 function model earlier than 1937 (in Deutsch). The English translation by Laura Hutton of "Conscious Orientation: A Study of Personality Types in Relation to Neurosis and Psychosis" was published in 1939.

I also criticize the socionics external/internal information dichotomy as contradicting cognitive psychology, linguistics, semiotics, and common sense.
