How big can a battle be? We're pushing the limits with an advanced simulation for measuring FPS in big battles. So far, we can generally maintain 25-30 FPS with 150 characters on the screen in close proximity in an open world. That’s 60 heroes, and 90 invading aliens. In this video, you’ll see real examples of 30 vs 30, 40 vs 50, 50 vs 75, and 60 vs 90 taken from our simulation tool. This is one thing we're doing to get ready for the new community event, an invasion of the Justice by hostile extraterrestrial soldiers. We have new powers, optimized FX, and additional changes on display. Stay tuned – the first run with players on the 15th will have a big surprise!
