Channel Islands Neckbeard 3 Surfboard Review

After almost 8 months, I am finally putting out an opinion of the NeckBeard3. First and foremost, I hate the name for this board. It's not a NeckBeard as far as I'm concerned. They should have called it something else, 5 O'clock Shadow, Clean Cut, Chin Hairs, anything other than NeckBeard.

Aside from that, there are things I liked about the board. Watch the video and let me know what you think. Surfing two boards, the NB2 and NB3 which are identical with only one change, was eye opening. The change in the tail actually impacted how the rocker felt, something I didn't expect. So I will take this as a huge lesson. I will definitely take this bit of info and apply it to other boards I buy.

In a nutshell, I liked it a lot over should high. hated it when it was smaller than shoulder high.

Fins: #NakedVikingSurf Mannkine - I tried it with the Machado pivots, large Mitch Coleborns, and a few other but the Dan Mann Mannkine fins worked best.
