James F. White is Professor of Plant Biology at Rutgers University where he and students conduct research on beneficial microbes that inhabit plant tissues. Dr. White specializes in the study of endophytic microbes and how they interact with plants. He is the author of more than 200 articles, and author and editor of reference books on the biology of endophytes.
