Redeeming Time

Time value of money is an important measurement taught in financial planning – yet rarely used in day-to-day life because banking institutions provide financial calculators so people plug in the numbers so the bank can provide an output figure.

This sounds like a great idea until you realize it removes some important variable: 1) the knowledge of the function of each of the figures making up the input, 2) other possible outputs.
Everything has meaning.

Knowledge produces energy.
