How can a dead person have such a effect on us? The Old man is dead, why are we listening to him ??

The old man is dead, but the flesh learned so much from him while he was alive. Now that he is dead we are on autopilot and doing the same things because old habits died hard. We can retrain our mind to think differently now that we are saved. Its our decision and ours alone. Once we do this we can live the Grace Life succesfully.
