OpenSea currently dominates NFT trading but not everyone sees that centralization as a good thing. @Dandelion started talking about the need for an open source alternative and Twitter insisted it be created. That led to the formation of Archipelago which seeks to be the open source alternative to OpenSea as a starting proposition.
