God is good all the time 478: Are the "toungues" we hear today True?

This is a topic that some would think is touchy and for some it is because of their beliefs. First let me say that we stand with the scriptures about the gift of tongues...now let me say that the belief of speaking in tongues today is a whole other thing. You see they speaking of tongues has to do with language...known languages...not a prayer language that only you speak because those types of utterances are not scriptural and they go against the prescribed participation within worship. There may be a few and far between instances of TRUE speaking in tongues but it will also follow the scriptures in how it will present and be handled...not the way it is today.
