Daniel Boone Gravesite Missouri

Daniel Boone lived out his golden years in the Femme Osage Valley, in Missouri where he died in 1820. He was buried at this location but was relocated in 1845 to Frankfort, Kentucky. BUT... WAS HE?!?! Much controversy surrounds the actual location of Daniel and his wife Rebecca's final resting place. Hear the story here!

When moving from the Little Sandy River Valley in today's Greenup County Kentucky, Daniel was asked in the Cincinnati area why he was moving into Spanish territory Missouri... "Elbow room, I need more elbow room!"
