New World Launch Review DISASTER, Server Queue World Errors Ruin Experience | Mixed Steam Reviews

New World launch day experience should be called Queue World with it's server queue's ranging in the 10,000's of players and this is ruining their review scores due to player experience. Steam reviews of Amazon's New world are now mixed with around 45% of them being negative reviews based largely on the awful server queue experience and not even being able to play New World.

With Amazon owning AWS the server experience should not be a problem, however with streamers and other youtube content creators all going on the same servers and bringing their communities with them. It's causing overpopulated servers even while 40% of New World's servers have no queue at all and this is ruining review scores as players queue for hours and cannot get into New World to play. The Amazon owned developers are giving frequent twitter updates and announcing addicitional server capacity regularly though, so they are doing their best. Alonside announcing free server transfers for new players soon.

New World is setting steam records with peak player counts of 760,000 players, but with server queue errors and crashes making people spend hours just waiting to play, players are not happy with many accusing the game of being bad, trash, or saying it sucks. The steam reviews are not happy, but those that have got into the game are giving it good reviews and thumbs up. So New World seems like a solid experience, IF you can actually play it, at least based off initial player experiences and short playtime.

We knew based off the New World Beta that the game would be a success, but to break steam and Twitch records? I'm not sure anyone expected that.
