Debunking council communism is really just debunking communism itself. The theory of communism cannot be materialised as it is far removed from human nature and economic reality. The argument Viki 1999 tries to make is that through council communism they decentralise the economy, but this is a contradiction as I point out to that of communal ownership and everything to do with socialism.

Decentralisation of the economy means to move away from collectivism towards individualism, in reference to capitalism with private individual ownership. Socialism, as I have pointed out so many times before, is defined around central planning and political centralisation.

Like I've argued many times in the past, the goal towards reaching their utopia is faced with dire consequences. Viki 1999 who conceded in the past saying she supports using money and paying wages, the reality is, they'd be faced with not only hyperinflation, but in the process of trying to rid the economy of the private sector, the soaring inflation would result in strikes, etc.

Her argument of council communism is based around the idea of democracy, but as we see in today's mixed economy, people may like to think of themselves as the power, but they would be forced to use central planning to keep a large scale economy and population all on the one page. Even then, as I've argued, stripping individuals of their rights and liberty means that what the collective dictates, the individual's needs and wants are subordinated, so the individual is forced to accept whatever the greater number decides.

Again, I wouldn't need to go into the entire argument on communal ownership and personal ownership, even at that, her argument about holding onto the market is contradictory of socialism in general. Whilst the Soviet Union did have the market to some extent, it was heavily centrally planned as I argued. For anyone to call the Soviet Union capitalist is downright ignorant and quite frankly ludicrous.
