Working in the technique of chasing and repousse'

Here I am drawing a design for creating a piece of jewelry. I will be using the technique of chasing and repousse'.
Chasing is the art of hammering an steel linear punch to outline the design on the front of the metal. Repousse´ is the act of pushing the metal up from the back side using multiple shaped end of steel punches. Work can be Chased alone or Repousse´d alone or the two techniques can be used together. In this video I do both!
