Moses Cone Park and the Blowing Rock | Blowing Rock pt 2 | Hiking Vlogs | Moses Cone House

The nature around Blowing Rock is really what swept me away. The rock itself was just a half mile worth of trails surrounding it, but once I went to the Moses Cone House Park it was all worth it, very long trails, lots of great and unique scenery, not too crowded, and best of all FREE (To be fair though, I got a little too worked up over the blowing Rock itself being $9, if it were up to me it would have been $3) there is unfortunately a lot more in the area that I missed during this trip we will be sure to get next time. Gideon's ridge was a destination I hoped to get to this trip but missed out due to time, as well as a river that runs passed the town. I found a lovely map inside an equally lovely spice shop that will be very useful for finding future locations in the mountains.
