Is The President Responsible for Inflation?

There is little Presidents alone can do to cause inflation and little they can do to fix it. The current bout of inflation is due to money printing, which financed federal deficits caused by politicians failing to produce a balanced budget. But every budget requires the agreement of the President, the House, and the Senate.
