Jeff's Mk7 GTI has probably the most common issue currently occuring, and that is the Waterpump failllling. Which, when this usually happens, you buy a Water Pump Thermostat Housing kit. It's a pretty simple job, butttt, Urotuning sent the incorrect water pump. Which kind of surprised me because they're an awesome company. BUT upon further investigation, his radiator is also leaking, so he's going to pick up one of those along with the proper water pump, and next weekend, we can attack this job once again!

With nothing left to do, we figured since he does have an intake coming in today, we aught' to boar out the unnecessary plastic that blocks the potential for more airflow to the intake. If you have a Mk7 GTI, R, etc, this is actually a really really good Mod because it gives such a performance gain. I'm Stage 2 in my Mk7 R, and this is how my intake is set up with a "performance" drop-in air filter, with a bigger intake pipe.
