Rickey is a singer/songwriter based in Pekin, IL.
He recalls singing from an early age and the first commercial song he learned was Travelin' Man by Ricky Nelson after whom he was named.
Rickey's band, The Hired Gunzz play a variety of music and are currently booking shows.
Rickey is on a mission to keep the traditional country genre alive and well for future generations.
Rickey has performed at Tootsie's Orchid Lounge in Nashville, Billy Bob's in Fort Worth, TX and he had one of the top bands in the state of Georgia in 2015.
Rickey is a 4 time nominee for awards in The Josie Music Awards, a top independent music awards program.
His songs are played by internet DJ's around the world and at last count on over 60 stations!
Rickey is in the studio almost every week and new songs are pending. With hopes of a second album by the end of 2020.
