Guild Wars 2 - Fishing - A Basic Look - April 2022

One of the much anticipated activities and requested features for Guild Wars 2 (GW2) was the ability to fish. Players finally got their request granted with the release of End of Dragons (Eod) in Feb 2022. This video gives a taste of what fishing looks like in game. This location is in a Guild Hall, which has more difficult fishing locations than the rest of the game. You will see successes and failures in this video.

Each fishing hole is good for three (3) caught fish and will respawn after ten (10) minutes.

Players can improve their fishing success based on the fishing pole used, the lure being utilized, bait and any nourishment bonuses (food).
