The difference between the cheap and expensive unit is mostly in the USB connection & the software. The ability to control the power supply from the computer and view amperage/voltage is pretty useless unless you intend to use it for livestreaming with open broadcaster and want results to show up on the screen. For most you will want the cheaper version.
