The Horses Tomb
8
The "Horses Tomb" was built by Lord Inverclyde (1897-1957) within the grounds of Wemyss Castle where he lived. It is believed that horse remains were interned within the tomb at some point. Lord Inverclyde was very keen on equestrian pursuits.
The tomb building is now little more than a ruin and has been subject to vandalism and graffiti over the years. The building is now in a dangerous condition.
