THE HEROES - Short Film - Will They Get Revenge?

SYNOPSIS: After the murder of a relative, Daniel decides to take matters into his own hands. With the help of his vengeful cousin, Jackie, and his cautious best friend, Isaac, he hatches a plan to satisfy their lust for revenge. Believing an organized crime group to be responsible, Daniel tracks down the man in charge. His plan is simple: ransack the man’s home while he’s asleep. The goal is twofold; first, to make a profit from stolen goods, and second, to send a message that the word is out about his misdeeds. Daniel wants him to know that they’re going to make his life a living nightmare.
Daniel pays lip service to lofty principles of justice. But in his heart, he’s out for blood. He’s ready to use his friends as pawns in his obsessive power fantasy.
Jackie’s got a gun, and she’s eager to use it. Only fourteen years old and already prepared for murder. In a way, this plan was Daniel’s way of calming her down. They weren’t going to kill the guy - just scare him a little. She didn’t need to be convinced; she needed to be assuaged. Isaac, on the other hand, was beyond skeptical. If Daniel can convince him to come along, then at least he can pretend that he’s doing the right thing.
Their plans go awry when something unexpected is discovered inside the house. Things spiral out of control quickly, and Daniel makes a choice that’ll change everything.
