Volitions Saints Row Reboot has been announced at Gamescom 2021 and terribly received by gamers. So after my last video about the Gamescom 2021 reveal, now we look at the developer blog to look in more detail about why Saints Row sucks. And the blame, seems to lie with Epic and their exclusivity deals.

As Epic Exclusive deals allow Saints Row to be on the Epic Store and not on Steam. It also means they don't have to worry about the money from Saints Row 1, 2, 3 & 4 fans. Without that restriction and their belief that they are far more talented than the devs who made the content and crew fans love. They made a game for them, for their intention to educate, rather than entertain. Welcome, to the glorious disaster.
