An interview with Roger Nygard – Director of Trekkies and more

The director of documentaries like Trekkies, The Truth About Marriage and The Nature of Existance, Roger Nygard was kind enough to give us some of his time and talk about documentary making, comedy editing and even the influence of Monty Python. We also mention the book he wrote, Cut to the Monkey, which he describes as a “cook book for editing comedy”.

As an editor, he has worked on shows like Gray’s Anatomy, Veep, The Office, Curb Your Enthusiasm, The Bernie Mac Show, just to name a few.
