Maybe it's something in the water, we don't know but it worked when we mixed Al Green with Alabama so we made it today's Segue City Special. Alabama is singing about the virtues of shagging down the boulevard in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina - the epicenter of East Coast Beach Music which is a musical genre totally different from the West Coast. It evokes more of laid back attitude about life, which, if you stop to think about it, is not a bad thing these days...

Segue City is a recurring short-form programming element. At some point it will be a part of "The Big Kahuna." That’s an Internet Radio format that’s a part of Global Entertainment Technology that was created by Dain L. Schult.

It revives the art of mixing two songs together in a seamless pattern where it is tough to tell where the first song ended and the second one began. Sometimes the segues may also revolve around thematic ideas like matching or similar song titles.

Other times there are hidden meanings and Easter Eggs in the mix as well. We'll try anything because no two Segue City Specials will ever be exactly the same...
