Marines Complete Exercise Talisman Sabre 21

August 9, 2021 - Marines from 3d Marine Division joined hundreds of other Marines from around the Pacific and converged in Queensland, Australia, during Talisman Sabre 2021. They joined thousands of other soldiers, sailors, and airmen during the exercise to test and enhance their interoperability as a combined and joint fighting force. The month-long multi-domain exercise consists of a series of training events that reinforce the strong U.S./Australian alliance and demonstrate the U.S. military’s unwavering commitment to a free and open Indo-Pacific.
