Diepsloot protest

Angry residents of Diepsloot have shut down the informal settlement on Wednesday demanding that Police Minister Bheki Cele address their issues. Community members have been hosting a number of protests complaining about the high rate of crime in the area. They are accusing illegal immigrants of being criminals since the police are not arresting perpetrators. Cele is expected to address them at 3pm.
