Palm Sunday is about the King of the Jews being presented, and yes also the passover lamb being seperated and pulled out and set aside to be watched. Christ died for our sins as a perpect man. He was tried and declaired rightous. He is our perfect Savior, who took our place for our sins on the cross. We only need to believe this fact and we too are saved. Christ died for our sins, He was buried, and He rose again.
