I haul my backpack from Badlands South Dakota to Mount Rainier and the Wonderland Trail, Hamilton Mountain, Beacon Rock, Columbia River Gorge, Silver Star Mountain, Pinnacle Peak, Mt. Rainier, Camelback Mountain Arizona, Great Lake, Missoula Montana, and straight to Tasmania Australia (Ocean Beach Hike, Weldborough Pass Rainforest, Mount Wellington, The Nut Stanley, South Cape, Wineglass Bay, Cradle Mountain, Barmeyer Loop). Every mile is packed with tent, sleeping bag, sleeping pad, boots, hiking stick, camelback, water filter, rain jacket, rain pants, pack cover, garbage bags, stuff sacks, space blanket, bowl, spoon, cup & plate, knife, moleskin, tennis ball, hat, gloves, long johns, long sleeve shirt, extra underwear, socks, headlamp, whistle, sunglasses, lighter, matches, sunscreen, bug spray, towel, toothbrush, toothpaste, chap stick, soap, powder Gatorade, vitamins, sit pad, map, sandals, rope food, all the food, and one wool or polyester sweater. We climb elevation, altitude, valley, forest, glaciers, rivers, mountains, dust, dirt, trail, track, overnight, and shorts, always ready for eagles overhead.
