Welcome! Here, we interview people who have experienced Medical Abuse. This most commonly manifests in the form of Medical Gaslighting, which occurs when a doctor or medical professional dismisses or trivializes a person’s health concerns based on the assumption they are mentally ill. Gaslighting is a form of psychological abuse. Doctors may tell a patient their symptoms are “in their head,” for example. This causes psychological, emotional & physical harm. Currently, there are NO valid consequences for doctors for abusing patients. Doctors are supposed to use the scientific method to come to conclusions when evaluating patients. Instead, too many often jump to conclusions based on their own personal prejudices. Here, we interview patients who have experienced medical abuse & medical gaslighting. Our mission is to use this platform to shine a light on this serious problem that occurs worldwide & provide a way to hold medical professionals accountable for how patients are treated.
