In 1099, the Crusaders took Jerusalem, but their slaughter flooded the holy city with a river of blood, opening a gate to Hell. Follow a contingent of warrior faithful as they sacrifice all to sail into the enemy’s domain. Not a mission mandated by God, but an errand of conscience: to make amends for slaughter, to wreak vengeance upon the shadows that cursed their kin, or to earn back their souls by bloodying the wicked.
