《佛陀》五十四集印度長劇

佛陀 Rajaon Ka Raja（號稱佛陀——萬王之王），是 Zee TV 和印度電視台的一部歷史劇。該劇由 B.K. 莫迪出品 Spice Global 公司冠名贊助。該劇製片人 Ridwana Khan 非常富有創造力，這部電視劇於 2013 年 9 月 8 日星期日上午 11：00 開始在 Zee TV 和印度電視台熱播，Kabir Bedi 擔任主演。扮演宣告喬答摩佛陀到來的聖人 Asita Muni 配演。劇中故事以佛陀的生活為基調，表現了悉達多王子如何變成佛陀的一段經歷。摩耶夫人這一角色原定由 Samiksha Singh 出演，後改為 Deepika Upadhyay。主角佛陀由 Himanshu Soni 出演，而出演悉達多‧喬答摩的妻子一角的是入圍 2010 年度印度小姐前十名的 Kajal Jain。很早以前，Ashutosh Gowariker就想和 Shekhar Kapur 合作一部關於佛陀的電視連續劇，最終得以圓滿。
