Jim Carlin is running for U.S. Senate to represent everyday Iowans, not the D.C. Swamp. Iowans deserve a Senator who will tell them the truth, work to improve their lives and put their interests first. While in the Iowa Legislature, Carlin was instrumental in passing the Heartbeat Bill. He exposed elder abuse at the Iowa Veterans’ Home and mismanagement of the Veterans Trust Fund. Carlin also introduced legislation to implement active shooter training and infrastructure in all Iowa schools. His proposal for a property tax freeze for seniors later became law. In addition, he also proposed a bill requiring bathroom use in schools to be dictated by sex rather than “gender identity,� which also later became law. Through Jim’s legislative career, he advocated for Iowans, not special interests. Jim is an attorney and lives in Sergeant Bluff, Iowa with his wife Donna. They have been married for 29 years and have three adult children and three grandchildren.

What is important to me is the most accurate reflection of the reality I see, and this is what I found in the X-T1 and now X-H2 models.
