This is the Rumble page for Brandon J. Weichert's new show, NATIONAL SECURITY TALK. These episodes will feature innovative and interesting people from the field of national security, international relations, economics, and politics. They will feature book talks and, more generally, discussions with the experts about current events related to their respective fields. Weichert has been described as a "Panic-and-anxiety inducing scholar who tells us the things we have to know but do not want to hear." He is the author of four bestselling book, WINNING SPACE: HOW AMERICA REMAINS A SUPERPOWER (Republic Book Publishers), BIOHACKED: CHINA'S RACE TO CONTROL LIFE (Encounter Books), THE SHADOW WAR: IRAN'S QUEST FOR SUPREMACY (Republic Book Publishers), and A DISASTER OF OUR OWN MAKING: HOW THE WEST LOST UKRAINE (Encounter Books). Brandon consults frequently with the US military, various federal agencies, think tanks, and private business on a variety of issues related to geotechnology, geoeconomics, and geopolitics. He is a frequent guest on THE WAR ROOM w/ STEPHEN K. BANNON, COUNTERPOINTS on Al Arabiya, and several others. Weichert is the Senior National Security Editor at The National Interest, a contributor to Popular Mechanics, and his writings have been featured at The Washington Times, The Asia Times, National Review, American Greatness, The American Spectator, and several other places. Brandon is a recovering Congressional staffer who holds a B.A. in Political Science from DePaul University, an M.A. in Statecraft and National Security Affairs from the Institute of World Politics in Washington, D.C., and he was an Associate Member of New College at Oxford University in 2015.
