Rock is a broad genre of popular music that originated as "rock and roll" in the United States in the late 1940s and early 1950s, developing into a range of different styles from the mid-1960s, particularly in the United States and the United Kingdom. It has its roots in 1940s and 1950s rock and roll. Rock musicians in the mid-1960s began to advance the album ahead of the single as the dominant form of recorded music expression and consumption, with the Beatles at the forefront of this development. Further fusion subgenres have since emerged, including pop-punk, electronic rock, rap rock, and rap metal. Some movements were conscious attempts to revisit rock's history, including the garage rock/post-punk revival in the 2000s. Since the 2010s, rock has lost its position as the pre-eminent popular music genre in world culture, but remains commercially successful. The increased influence of hip-hop and electronic dance music can be seen in rock music, notably in the techno-pop scene of the early 2010s and the pop-punk-hip-hop revival of the 2020s. Rock has also embodied and served as the vehicle for cultural and social movements, leading to major subcultures including mods and rockers in the U.K., the hippie movement and the wider Western counterculture movement that spread out from San Francisco in the U.S. in the 1960s, the latter of which continues to this day. Similarly, 1970s punk culture spawned the goth, punk, and emo subcultures. Inheriting the folk tradition of the protest song, rock music has been associated with political activism, as well as changes in social attitudes to race, sex, and drug use, and is often seen as an expression of youth revolt against adult consumerism and conformity. I started a youtube channel called Black Widow and changed it to turboworld about 7 years ago, based on fixing cars and making them go faster and last longer. Since then I have been censored and duplicated on you tube 22 other times, and had almost 30 strikes, 70 video's removed, blocked. Now I fight one appeal at a time and wait the rest out until i win or the punishment finishes. I have watched many big creators grow and fall along the way. I would have never thought they and I would be censored for creativity. I would have never imagined as a kid that greedy ass corporations would pay top dollar to keep me from growing and team up together to keep you from saying or sharing anything as well .Now its been 7 years since companies started literally colluding to block me from you, for sharing my craft. You know me, I fight back harder and harder each day against the tyranny, the hate, and the abuse. Because I am on the just side of the law, and it's already law, but absolutely no one is responsible for enforcing it, so I am finding out. Well hold me accountable for trying, I aim to change the future for all of us and many generations past, because it matters to me. What could possibly be more important than preparing a future for all of us? Only God Knows.

For most of his early years he did open source work on his OUPower.com website, sharing everything he was working on openly with the world. In 2017 Chris shifted gears and began the process of patenting his wind turbine technology. He founded Harmony Turbines Inc in August 2020 continuing the previous R&D work and patent filings. In June 2022, Chris's wife, Cheryl, joined him full-time at Harmony Turbines in an effort to help towards the final push through prototyping and producing test and beta units. At Harmony Turbines, we believe in transparency in our efforts, successes and struggles, therefore our project updates are honest, sometimes silly and sometimes raw.
